ACADEMIC ADVISOR JOB DUTIES
ACADEMIC ADVISOR FOR SACA ONSITE AND SACAEAGLES ONLINE STUDENTS
CREATE STUDENT GRADUATION PLANS
Review incoming student transcripts and create a personalized graduation plan for each student based on what has been completed and what credits are remaining
Create pacing plans for students that are falling behind with their personalized graduation plan
Meet with teachers to discuss students that are falling behind in their plans
FILE GRADE VERIFICATION PAPERWORK
Fill out verification paperwork to submit to front office
Record pertinent information to be used in end of semester/year analysis reports
Assist with report cards at the end of each semester to verify the information
MANAGE THE SCHOOLS PLP (PERSONALIZED LEARNING PLAN) LEARNING MANAGEMENT PLATFORM
Add and Archive students/staff as necessary
Update courses yearly to the newest versions and add courses to the school page
Keep the course settings up to date
Manage student course enrollments
MANAGE THE RENAISSANCE STAR 360 ASSESSMENT PLATFORM
Adding students/staff as necessary to program
Administering student assessments
Prepare platform for each new school year
Review results and progress with students and faculty
MAINTAIN FREQUENT/REGULAR COMMUNICATION WITH ALL SACA STUDENTS/ PARENTS AND FACULTY
SERVE AS THE SACA TESTING COORDINATOR
Complete the necessary training modules for administering the AZELLA, ACT and AZSci State tests.
Administer state testing to students who are required to be tested
Schedule and administer the PSAT
Schedule the ASVAB assessment with military representatives
FILE THE CCRI, ON TRACK TO GRADUATE (INITIAL/FINAL), CREDITS EARNED, AND ECAP REPORTS EACH YEAR.
Track College and Career Readiness Indicators (CCRI) for each student during high school to document points awarded on the CCR Report
Track & Evaluate credits for students who may qualify for the On Track to Graduate Report
PARTICIPATE IN SACA’S CREATING YOUR FUTURE PROGRAM AS A LEADER FOR ONE CLASS EACH MONTH.
Maintain communication with local military recruiters and college representatives
Set up times for representatives to come on campus to speak with students
ASSIST IN THE CLASSROOMS OR FRONT DESK DUTIES AS NECESSARY
