Job Description

Drive your career forward as a Loan Processor (“Documentation Underwriter”) in our Pompano Beach, Florida National Buying Center.  It’s your first step in a financial services career with Southern Auto Finance Company.

The Loan Processor is responsible for checking in new finance contracts and processing them for funding.  The position works contract packages on a daily basis, and properly handles all interaction with customers and dealers. Key duties and responsibilities include:

• Review final finance contract for completeness and accuracy.  Ensure the contracts and stipulations meet SAFCO underwriting requirements.
• Communicate with dealerships, Relationship Managers, and customers on a daily basis to update the status of contract packages.  Update the list of outstanding stipulations of funding packages on a daily basis.
• Work files in house until they are ready to be funded.
• Update the funding status reports on a daily basis.
• Answer dealer questions about contracts and payments.
• Book files approved for funding.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
