    Description

    The Enrollment Coordinator is responsible for managing the admissions lifecycle for all the college's applicants from their initial inquiry to their new student orientation. The Enrollment Coordinator serves as the first point of contact for inquiries made to the college, schedules each applicant's appointment to visit the college and coordinates with various school offices to guide the student through the admissions process. This position is best suited for those who enjoy engaging with people from various backgrounds and have very strong multitasking capabilities.

    Responsibilities

    • Guide prospective students throughout the admissions process by:
      • Following up with inquiries from various sources including phone call, web inquiries and walk-ins;
      • Scheduling initial and follow-up appointments;
      • Working with applicants and the schools offices to ensure all steps of the admissions process are completed quickly and correctly; and
      • Responding to any questions an applicant has in regards to their application status or to the college in general.
    • Prepare and provide enrollment packets, brochures and other promotional materials to prospective students
    • Maintain each applicants admissions file and ensure all documentation is completed and meets all regulatory requirements
    • Accurately enter and maintain all admissions related data input into the colleges information systems
    • Create reports for the Admissions Director to include data on inquiries, application states, and admitted student
    • Coordinate the new student orientation program each term
    • Meeting performance goals for the numbers and percentages of inquiries contacted and guided through the admissions process
    • Perform other related tasks as necessary, which may include attending college recruitment events

    Qualifications

    • Associates or Bachelor's degree preferred in a related field
    • Extensive experience in customer service oriented positions preferred
    • Familiarity and comfort working with various web based applications
    • Self-driven and goal oriented that can be demonstrated through past experience
    • Clear and concise communication skills
    • Ability to quickly learn new skills
