The responsibilities of this position includes instructing students enrolled in the associate's and bachelor's degree programs on topics related to general psychology and organizational psychology. 

Responsibilities

Instruct associate's and bachelor's degree students on the following topics: Psychoanalysis/Freud, Behaviorism, Conditioning, Abnormal Psychology, Thought and Memory, Social Psychology, Organizational Psychology, and other concepts in the discipline.

Develop lesson plans and assessments appropriate to the learning objectives of the instructed courses.

Deliver the course in an distance learning format that includes:

• Live teleconference sessions held two days per week (using Google Meet)
• Developing videos for students to watch independently on a weekly basis
• Managing an online Google Classroom environment (posting assignments, grading assignments, responding to student questions, etc.)

Employ effective teaching strategies that promote student engagement and motivation.

Participate in meetings to discuss and evaluate curricular issues, and to ensure effective and collaborative decisions across departments.

Participate in the development, recommendation, and systematic review of academic policies/procedures, at the program and institutional level.

Proctor exams and maintain/report grades for the classes taught.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or higher in Psychology or closely related fields.
• Minimum 2 years of teaching experience at an accredited college, minimum of 5 years preferred.
• Preference for experience instructing in an online environment; however, not required.
• Excellent presentation and public speaking skills.
