    About the Position

    We are looking for a creative, talented professional to assemble recorded footage into a finished project, and produce digital assets that can be included on the school's website and other publications. Projects include instructional videos for online courses, promotional videos for the school, and support in development of a website and promotional materials. Candidates should have a good vision for producing instructional videos that are effective in communicating and teaching technical concepts to students and have creative talent for developing clean, modern graphic designs.

    THIS IS A CONTRACT POSITION THAT CAN TURN INTO A REGULAR FULL-TIME OR PART-TIME POSITION DEPENDING ON THE QUALITY OF THE WORK PRODUCED AND OTHER MARKETING TALENTS PRESENTED.

    Responsibilities:

    • Edit videos captured by faculty and staff

    • Assist with maintaining and managing video recording equipment

    • Be able to project manage videos to be produced in a pipeline and regularly provide updates on the status of projects

    • Provide direction and guidance for producing videos as needed

    • Create or acquire all necessary graphic arts or animations to incorporate into videos

    • Capture and edit photos for inclusion in videos or other materials as necessary

    • Ensuring that all produced content is of high quality and professional level with no errors

    • Design artistic layouts, concepts and drafts for brochures, web pages, emails, flyers, banners, catalogs, forms, handout packets, internal handbooks, training materials, and any other creative works.

    • Provide creative input on website appearance and development

    Requirements

    • At least 3 years of experience as a Video Editor and Graphic Artist. Experience producing instructional videos preferred.

    • Strong experience working with ADOBE SUITE SOFTWARE (e.g. Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, etc.)

    • Experience working with TECHSMITH CAMTASIA as the video editing software (or able to quickly and independently learn)

    • Excellent video editing skills and proficiency with 2D effects

    • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)

    • Creative imagination

    • Bachelors in related field preferred

    • Experience writing content and performing SEO work preferred.

    Software (Adobe Creative Suite and Camtasia) and computer are located at the school to produce materials. This position will require work to be completed on location; however, arrangements can be made for a portion of the work to be completed off-site if the individual is able to furnish their own capable computer and software licenses.
