The Yacht Management Accounting Department handles administrative tasks related to accounting for our yacht operations. This includes providing accounting and reporting services to both the vessel and its owner. The Yacht Management Accounting Manager will serve as the main contact person for the owner regarding these matters.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Financial Reporting & Budgeting
· Arrange for Annual, Quarterly & Monthly budgets for each vessel based on collaboration with captain & yacht managers as requested by the owner.
· Prepare budgets with charting/graphics and adequate presentation.
· Ensure that budgets and monthly reports are presented in a timely manner.
· Produce Annual, Quarterly & Monthly financial reports to the owner and/or owner's Rep as requested.
· Provide budget variance analysis in collaboration with the captain & Yacht Manager, as necessary.
· Present funding requests to owner based on budget projections and cash reserve.

Accounts Payable
· Ensure that expenditure approval levels are established and agreed to by the Owner and communicated to Captain & Crew.
· Review and process payable invoices for the vessel in accordance with the established our approval protocols.
· Train and assist Captain's and Crew in our accounting procedures.
· Manage the Captain & Crew's debit/credit cards and petty cash, frequently in multiple currencies.
· Understand and apply each vessel's financial and taxable requisite corresponding to her flag state, registration and location.
Payroll / Crew Administration.
· Process payroll and provide funding to third-party payroll company each month.

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES
· Assisting the department in particular with vendor/account related tasks, such as software development.
· Contribute to company/department tasks and special projects as assigned.
· Attendance at boat shows, as required.
· International travel, as required.

REQUIREMENTS
· Degree in Finance, Accounting or Business OR equivalent experience
· Excellent computer skills (Windows iOS and Mac iOS) specifically is required
· Proficiency with Microsoft Excel required. Experience with FileMaker is preferred
· Working knowledge & utilization of QuickBooks accounting software is preferable

SKILLS
· Ability to communicate professionally and effectively with clients, captains, and yacht management team
· Ability to efficiently prioritize and multi-task is essential
· Attention to detail and follow-up is key
