    Job Description

    We are looking for a detail-oriented Dispatcher / Service Coordinator to evaluate the needs of our customers, make recommendations for new services, and suggest improvements to existing services. The service coordinator's responsibilities include scheduling service calls, looking up parts for customers, explaining the available options, and keeping records of the services offered. 

    We will train the right candidate.

    To be successful as a service coordinator, you should be service-oriented with excellent organizational and record-keeping skills. You should have strong communication and interpersonal skills and should be able to deal with our clients.

    SERVICE COORDINATOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Answer calls and document important information.
    • Respond to any issues and follow-up by coordinating with the appropriate departments.
    • Respond to queries related to products and deliveries.
    • Use the phones to direct technicians to the appropriate sites.
    • Prioritize and organize calls according to urgency.
    • Supervise the route and status of technicians to prioritize their daily schedule.
    • Maintain and update call logs, call records and other important documentation.
    • Scheduling appointments for clients, answering phones and tracking clients' service records.
    • Monitoring the services being provided and staying up to date on any services being introduced or discontinued.
    • Following up with clients regularly to assess and ensure their satisfaction.
    • Responding to complaints and resolving issues or matching clients with better services.

    SERVICE COORDINATOR REQUIREMENTS:

    • Previous experience as a Dispatcher or Service Coordinator would be a plus but not required (on-the-job training provided!)
    • Basic computer skills
    • Strong work ethic and service skills.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
    • Staying up to date with available parts & services. 
    • Strong record-keeping and analytical skills.

    Company Description

    We are an appliance retail store that services the appliances we sell and those we don't. We also have an automotive department selling tires, doing routine maintenance and automotive repairs.
