    WHAT WILL YOU DO?

    As a Sr. Project Manager, the incumbent has a strong project goals execution with a strong understanding of large project milestones and processes.  A Senior Project Manager will have a strong technical command such as MEP, HVAC, Energy, Electrical Engineering and BAS.  In this role, an expectation of a strong leadership who inspires and empowers team members to achieve a common goal successfully.  Responsible for strategic planning and financial forecasting.          

     

    Some key accountabilities you will have as the Project Manager include… 

    • Responsible for successful project goals execution in all phases.
    • Establish and execute project milestones and processes.
    • Adhere to master plan schedule and consistently execute excellence.  
    • Direct and motivate teams through all phases of a single large project or multiple projects. 
    • Provide problem resolutions and know how to motivate the team.  
    • Financial oversight and accountability on multiple Construction Projects.
    • Negotiate, write and execute contracts with owners and subcontractors.
    • Utilize the latest construction industry trends and pioneer new trends as they emerge.
    • Develop and maintain superior customer relationships that aligns with Southland philosophy of valuing customers for life.

     

    THINGS YOU MAY HAVE DONE BEFORE:

    • Demonstrate strong track record of problem resolutions skills.
    • Demonstrate strong leadership skills with proven ability to manage multi-disciplinary teams and high qualities project deliverables.
    • Authentic leadership – you’re able to lead by example, with integrity and a real interest in the development of each member of your team.
    • Strong accountability and initiative skills.  
    • A Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or Construction Management
    • Minimum 8 years of Project Management experience
    • Minimum 5 years in the energy and program management
    • Experience in energy, automation, solar and power generation is a huge a plus.
    • Knowledgeable with at least two or more of Solar, Electrical Power Systems, MEP, HVAC, BAS – building automation Systems and Energy Engineering
    • Strong Project Management Processes and tools.

    PAY: _ Final pay is determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data. For (California) this ranges from $120,000 - $165,000 plus annual incentive, benefits and retirement program as outlined above._
