POSITION SUMMARY:

The Service Coordinator will be responsible for clear and frequent communication with Field Technicians and coordinating jobs with Dispatcher.  You help with quoting, procuring, and delivering specific products and/or services from qualified suppliers and subcontractors within established Company policies and practices.  This is a part-time position.

WHAT YOU WILL DO: 

• Communication with Service technicians to formulate spot and pull through estimates and develop and send proposal to customer. Follow up with customers with awarded and pending proposals.
• Coordinates materials, sub-contractors and equipment based on needs, skill sets and availability.
• Responsible for generating, interpreting and printing various reports.
• Updates and retains customer account information related to proposal log.
• Responsible for customer Satisfaction, including Client follow-up is shared responsibility with Administration Team).
• Fulfills material requisitions from field staff, estimating or fabrication shop, procures and ensures product is ordered at a competitive price and delivery of product to user within required timeframes.
• Coordinates bulk deliveries of rough products, to meet deadlines.
• Prepares and manages purchase orders and follows up on past-due purchase orders.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL:

• Associate’s degree or higher or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in the service industry preferred
• Systems knowledge of HVAC mechanical Service Industry
• Ability to operate a personal computer using spreadsheet, word processing, data base software, and experience using ERP software. (COINS preferred)
• Knowledge of purchasing practices, systems, and practices, and the ability to negotiate and procure items in a timely manner
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
