  • Responsibilities

    Ballard Spahr has a new and exciting opportunity available in the Philadelphia office. As part of a hands-on collaborative team, this position will assist with daily operations for recruiting lateral associates, of counsel, and attorneys through all phases of the recruitment and onboarding processes, and assist on planning orientations and facilitating the integration program for all new hires. The chosen individual will be a detail-oriented, self-starter who will be responsible for posting jobs, drafting and preparing correspondence, data entry, scheduling candidate interviews and preparing candidate materials. The coordinator also will assist in hosting lateral candidates visiting the firm for interviews as well as hosting new hires during orientation. THIS POSITION IS HYBRID AND OFFERS A WORK SCHEDULE OF 2 DAYS A WEEK IN THE OFFICE. 

    Required Skills

    Qualified candidates will have excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational and time management skills. The ability to handle multiple demands, prioritize tasks and respond effectively with competing deadlines is required. The ability to work beyond standard work hours may be necessary to perform the essential functions of this position.

    Required Experience

    Requirements include a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a professional environment; prior law firm experience is preferred. Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook required; experience with viRecruit, FileSite and a conference room booking program desired.
