    Southpoint Animal Hospital in Durham, NC is growing, and we have openings for a Client Care Associate.

    Southpoint Animal Hospital is a privately-owned, 5 doctor practice in South Durham. We opened our doors in 2011 and have been happily serving NC patients and clients since. We have won Indy Best of the Triangle 8 times and Durham Magazines Best of Durham 9 times.     JOB DESCRIPTION

    Our Client Care Associate is responsible for maintaining excellent customer service and assisting our customers with their inquiries and resolving any technical issues they may have. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently and apply their knowledge of the different software systems we use to identify helpful solutions for our clients.

    The client care team works directly with our patients, their pet parents, and our veterinarians. You will become the advocate for the pet by making sure that their parents are well educated on their pet’s healthcare needs. You will work hand in hand with the veterinarian and medical team to deliver that healthcare through appointment scheduling, maintenance of medical records, fostering client relationships, and much more.

    A strong work ethic and a team mentality is a must. You must be comfortable interacting with pet parents and be comfortable teaching and speaking to them. You must be comfortable around pets of all personalities.

    Please note, you will be around cats and dogs all day. If highly allergic to cats and/or dogs, please do not apply.

    JOB REQUIREMENTS

    • Must have reliable transportation
    • Must be able to work evenings and some Saturdays
    • Computer competency including data entry and word processing skills a must
    • Strong client-service and communication skills
    • Ability to work independently and within a team
    • Love of pets and pet parents is a must

     HOSPITAL HOURS

    • M, W, F               7:00AM-6:00PM
    • T, Th                    7:00AM-8:00PM
    • SATURDAYS        8:00AM-3:00PM
      • Closed the 1st Saturday of every month

    Education & Experience

    • High school diploma or equivalent
    • Previous veterinary experience or previous experience in customer service is preferred
