Job Description
The Building Maintenance Technician will conduct preventive maintenance on electrical, mechanical, and plumbing systems. Perform repairs and troubleshooting for various equipment. Manage upkeep of exterior areas, including landscaping and cleaning. Coordinate waste removal and ensure compliance with regulations. Collaborate with a network of qualified vendors to ensure the comprehensive maintenance and repair of the building.

FLSA STATUS:
Non-exempt position – Non-exempt employees will receive overtime pay at 1.5 times the calculated hourly rate for time worked more than 40 hours per week.
POSITION TYPE/EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK: :
This is a full-time (non-exempt) position, and hours of work and days are Monday through Friday, 7:00 am to 12:00 pm and 12:30 pm to 3:30 pm.
LOCATION:
This position is located at our US headquarters in Branford, CT.
TRAVEL:
This position does not require travel.
Qualifications
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
High school diploma or GED equivalent
LANGUAGE SKILLS:
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
