    JOB DESCRIPTION/SUMMARY: PSR (PATIENT SERVICES REPRESENTATIVE)/FRONT OFFICE COORDINATOR

    $17.25/HR SALARY

    SCNM’s Patient Services Representatives (PSRs) are positive first impression ambassadors and the front line in communication between Medical Center/Neil Riordan Center for Regenerative Health patients and physicians. PSRs support the clinical team by coordinating patient visits, scheduling, and processing payments. They are responsible for establishing a positive experience for our patients.

    SCNM PSRs support SCNM’s mission of providing high-quality healthcare and are directly responsible for:

    1. Exhibiting stellar customer service to both internal and external clients while scheduling, billing, following through with patient inquiries, and managing phone calls; supporting a consistent high quality patient experience and supporting a mission of focused growth in patient volume.
    2. Contributing to a team that promotes a positive and supportive work environment for all SCNM staff; as well as a positive, healing, and supportive environment for patients.
    3. Accurate data entry in the electronic health records system, medical file maintenance and other related documentation and communication, supporting an infrastructure of data-driven decisions and continuous improvement through advanced analytics.

    EXPERIENCE EXPECTATIONS:

    • Front office phones/call transfers
    • Appointment scheduling management
    • Computer literate:
      1. Electronic Records/Electronic Medical Records maintenance
      2. Competent in Microsoft Office (or similar) and email protocol
    • Data entry
    • Greeting and welcoming others
    • Maintaining a positive workspace atmosphere
    • Positive customer/patient service
    • Clear verbal and written communication

    Education Requirements:

    Preferred Education

    /Certifications Associates Degree, Medical Certification, or similar

    Required Education High School Diploma/GED

    WORKING ENVIRONMENT

    Activities are performed in an environmentally controlled office setting subject to extensive periods of sitting, keyboarding and manipulating a computer mouse. Required to stand for varying lengths of time and walk moderate distances to perform work. Frequent bending, reaching, lifting, pushing and pulling of up to 25 pounds. Regular activities require ability to quickly change priorities which may include and/or are subject to resolution of conflicts. Communicate to perform essential functions.

    BACKGROUND/SCREENING:

    All employees at SCNM undergo a background and drug screen prior to hire. All applicants must show documentation of vaccinations or provide titer results for measles. Employment is contingent upon satisfactory outcome of all screens required of this position.
