    Hours: Monday- Friday 7:00 am to 3:30 pm

    Location: St Petersberg

    Compensation: $28.00 and up Based on experience

    Summary:

    Southwest Plumbing Services Inc. is currently looking for a Foreman/Supervisor to work in the field in the St. Petersburg area.     What you will be doing:

    · Conduct job site safety meetings as required. Provide construction manager with copies of safety meeting minutes. Ensuring that all field staff follow safety procedures, wear protective gear as required.

    · Maintain positive forward moving relationships with construction managers, inspectors and other trades.

    · Have command and knowledge of all plumbing systems that are being installed.

    · Be familiar with plumbing codes.

    · Ability to read and understand a complete set of bldg. construction plans

    · Manage work being performed by all SWP employees. Maintain quality control and workmanship to SWP standards.

    · Enforce and maintain job clean up requirements as required.

    · Maintain job schedule with resources provided

    · Maintain consistent work load

    · Coordinate with construction manager and other trades all plumbing work that is being installed.

    · Redline construction plans with any field modifications to plumbing. Inform construction manager of any necessary changes before work is performed.

    · Manage and control time for SWP field forces, IE start and stop times, work breaks and lunch breaks

    · Implement efficiency measures to help productivity.

    · Manage all material when it is on the job site. Generate material lists when additional material is required. Order and confirm material will be on site when required.

    · Communicate policies, train and evaluate all employees under your supervision.

    · Train employees for the proper use of tools.

    · Provide written evaluations for employees under your supervision.

    · Enforce proper care and use of tools

    · Schedule and coordinate inspections and be available to walk with inspector when on site

    · Attend required job site meetings and Attend SWP Foreman meetings.

    · Provide daily logs through cloud-based Procore.

    · Provide leadership and motivation to those working under you in a positive way

    · Provide field training where necessary.

    · Enforce company policy at all levels regarding conduct.

    · Report absent employees daily thru Procore.

    · Turn in request for vacation/days off for approval.

    · Turn in accidents reports for employees, vehicle & job accidents.

    · Report stolen tools and who is responsible.

    · Call in locations for job if required.

    · Attention to detail.

    · Work in a clean organized workmanlike manner.

    What you will need:

    · Required: High School Diploma and/or GED Preferred: Apprenticeship program, Journeyman preparation, Journeyman License, OSHA Certifications, Applicable Certifications and Training

    · Required: 3-5 years field experience working independently as a plumber for a plumbing contractor in a new construction/major renovation setting. Experienced as a lead man supervising others. Familiar with multiple material / phases /disciplines of plumbing systems and installation methods for residential and/or commercial projects.

    · Preferred: 5 years local or US experience in similar market setting with practical plumbing experience in all phases of new construction plumbing and gas as well as supervisory experience on a variety of residential and commercial projects.

    · Manage and be responsible for all work materials and equipment

    · Must have reliable transportation

    · Must have a complete set of plumber’s hand tools
