Job Description

Southwest Solutions Group is seeking an intern to be a key member of the sales team. This will be a 12-week paid, 40 hours a week, summer internship.

LOCATION: Lewisville, TX

PAY: $12/hr

ABOUT YOU:

We prefer a candidate who possesses the following traits:

• A willingness to learn how to be in both inside/ outside sales
• Bubbly personality with the ability to show up with a good attitude
• Eager to learn
• Interested in designing spaces, making quick transactions
• Patience in human relationships

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• majoring in business, marketing, communications, finance, public relations,
• working towards a bachelor’s degree
• going into junior or senior year
• be able to work 40 hours a week during the internship

DUTIES WILL INCLUDE:

• Learning how to design and quote projects / getting orders
• Scanning bid documents working directly with GC’s and architects
• Following up with customers on project statuses, color selections, drawing authorizations, and all inner workings to secure business
• Meeting with both our vendors and our customers both inside and outside of the office regularly
• Speaking to customers over the phone, via email, and in-person
• Verifying dimensions of projects that are to be “installed” by our in house team
• Learning how to present to architects and design groups about our product lines
• E-commerce site live chat, online support, and learning how to run an online B2C store entails
