We are currently seeking a manager to join our financial team and lead our medical billing department. The position requires a well-rounded knowledge of the medical billing process including pre-submission review, claim submission, posting, and high level of accounts receivable management. Potential candidates should have a proven track record with a minimum of 5 years of successful medical billing management experience. This person is responsible for leading and planning the billing operations for a 6 person department that is growing. He/she is responsible for overseeing the entire revenue cycle and is the resident expert on all insurance carriers and all matters of billing and coding. He/she is responsible for identifying changes in reimbursement and changes in medical necessity requirements across all insurance carriers. Candidates must project a warm, enthusiastic and friendly demeanor in client and team member interactions. Must have excellent problem solving skills.

Establish and maintain proper billing procedures with a focus on increasing efficiency

Planning and implementation of quality assurance throughout the billing cycle.

Daily, Weekly and Monthly tracking and reporting of billing staff performance and receivables

Ability to maintain a customer-friendly environment while ensuring customer accounts stay current

College degree in accounting/finance/business management preferred
