Responsibilities: Counsel clients by assessing options and determining the best course of action for a successful outcome Analyze client needs, identify solutions, and determine case strategies Take responsibility for administrative staff relating to client invoicing/billing records, setting up meetings with clients and completing tasks Get the appropriate legal documents ready for clients, such as brief, motions, and pleadings, as well as correspondence Conduct research and draft pleadings, briefs, and motions Manage administrative assistants, paralegals, and law clerks Argue motions in court on behalf of clients during legal proceedings Qualifications: • Must be licensed to practice law in the State of California • Must have at least five years of litigation experience in estate planning, trust administration, and probate • Must have the ability to function at a high level and work independently while handling a have caseload • Advanced computer skills working with legal research programs • Knowledge of Microsoft Office programs is needed Compensation: $180,000 - $190,000
