  • Responsibilities

    Job Description

    Develop and execute balanced soybean supply plans for North America, covering the 0-18 month operational horizon, aligning supply with demand across various crops and locations.

    • Supply Planning & Optimization: Develop and maintain balanced supply plans, considering production capacity, demand forecasts, and inventory levels. This includes managing allocations, creating the Rough Cut Capacity Plan (RCCP), and optimizing asset utilization
    • Quality Assurance & Control: Oversee all aspects of quality testing, assurance, and data analysis, ensuring high-quality product for plant operations, planning, sales, and distribution. This includes coordinating sample submissions, developing data analysis tools, and leading quality process improvements.
    • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate effectively with commercial, crop, production, packaging, labeling, marketing, legal, product development, and seed care teams. Manage vendor relationships for seed sourcing.
    • Team Leadership & Development: Lead, develop, and mentor the Seeds Operational Planning team, fostering a collaborative and high-performing work environment. This includes setting ambitious goals, implementing strategies, and monitoring team performance.
    • Continuous Improvement: Continuously review and improve planning processes, identifying and implementing strategies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. Actively participate in cross-functional initiatives (Planning Excellence & S&OP Excellence) to drive improvements.
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree in Agriculture or related field.
    • 5-7 years’ experience in supply chain management, quality control, or data analysis.
    • 3 + years proven leadership experience in a relevant industry.
    • Preferred agriculture or seed industry experience.
    • Demonstrated experience in demand and supply planning, production scheduling.
    • Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
    • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills.
    • Proficiency in relevant software and tools (QMS, ERP, SAP, Microsoft Office, etc.).
