Job Description
SP Distribution is a young and successful distribution company of juvenile products and we are looking for an experienced team member to help coordinate company’s US based operations for Doona brand. Candidate will work closely with the Head of Operations.
General Function
The Operations Coordinator will help execute on the Order to Delivery process as well as order management. In delivering on the above, the Operations Coordinator helps manage external communication with clients and internal communications with internal parties such as Customer Service, Logistics, Sales, Planning, Credit, IT and Marketing
Responsibilities:
• Supports the order process from order creation to invoicing.
• Ensures best service level from receipt of orders for processing, allocation, to trouble shooting needed after receipt of deliveries to customers, maintaining high level of confidentiality while developing strong relationships with customers.
• Tracks past and future orders, updating all the Account Managers, Customers and Business Planners.
• Works closely with inside sales team and sales representatives to understand customers’ needs, order history, customer order progress, complaints, pricing changes and account status.
• Monitors the status of orders portfolio and reviews inventory levels in order to ensure all backorders are properly fulfilled or allocated for upcoming needs to meet on-time delivery.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field • 2+ years related work experience • Strong customer focus • Organized and analytical • Excellent communication skills verbal and written • Ability to work efficiently in a fast paced environment • Strong PC skills, including Excel, Word and PowerPoint • Strong time management skills • Ability to work independently • Attention to detail and accuracy • Innovative thinking • Strong interpersonal skills; ability to work well with all levels of internal leadership and staff • Hands on experience with SCM systems, ERP, EDI knowledge is a big plus
