Spanish Immersion Teacher After-School Enrichment Program
Spanish Immersion Teacher – After-School Enrichment Program Creative STEAM Academy · Laguna Woods, CA Part-Time · Mondays–Thursdays · 2:15 PM–4:00 PM
Creative STEAM Academy is looking for a creative, energetic, and passionate Spanish Immersion Teacher to lead our after-school Spanish enrichment program. We are looking for someone who loves teaching Spanish in a fun, engaging, and hands-on way through project-based learning, art, theatre, sports, games, movement, creativity, and real-life conversation.
This is not a traditional worksheet-based Spanish class. Our goal is for students to learn Spanish naturally through immersion, meaningful activities, and joyful participation. Students should be speaking, listening, creating, playing, building, acting, moving, and using Spanish in real-life ways throughout the class.
About the Program
Our Spanish Immersion After-School Program runs Monday through Thursday from 2:15 PM–4:00 PM. Each day has a different focus, but all classes are taught primarily in Spanish to help students build confidence, vocabulary, listening skills, comprehension, and conversational fluency.
Students work on hands-on projects and skill-building activities in a Spanish-speaking classroom only. The focus is on using Spanish naturally while completing meaningful tasks, collaborating with classmates, solving problems, and communicating through the project process. Students participate in storytelling, acting, skits, role-play, songs, and dramatic activities in Spanish. The goal is to help students speak confidently through fun, expressive, and creative activities. Students create art projects while learning and using Spanish vocabulary related to colors, shapes, materials, tools, textures, and what they are drawing, painting, building, or creating.
