    About the Role:

    Park Schools Montessori is looking for a warm, nurturing, and dependable Spanish-Speaking Assistant Teacher to join our Nido (Infant) classroom team. The ideal candidate has a genuine love for working with infants and is passionate about supporting their early growth, development, and independence.

    We are seeking someone who is patient, gentle, and attentive while providing Spanish language exposure through daily interactions, songs, conversations, and classroom routines.

    Responsibilities:

    Assist the Lead Teacher with daily infant classroom routines and activities

    Provide a safe, loving, and nurturing environment for infants

    Support each child’s physical, emotional, social, and developmental needs

    Communicate with children in Spanish through songs, stories, and daily interactions

    Assist with feeding, diapering, naps, and maintaining classroom schedules

    Observe and respond to each child’s individual needs with care and patience

    Help prepare and organize Montessori materials and classroom activities

    Maintain a clean, organized, and safe classroom environment

    Encourage independence and early developmental milestones

    Communicate professionally with teachers, staff, and families

    Follow all school policies, health, safety, and childcare guidelines

    Qualifications:

    Ability to speak Spanish fluently or conversationally required

    Previous infant, childcare, daycare, or early childhood classroom experience preferred

    Experience caring for infants in an educational setting is a plus

    Montessori experience preferred but not required

    Knowledge of infant development and age-appropriate care

    Patient, gentle, loving, and dependable

    Strong communication and teamwork skills

    Comfortable supporting infant care routines including feeding, diapering, and naps

    Ability to multitask in a busy classroom environment

    Willingness to learn and follow Montessori practices

    Preferred Skills:

    Previous experience as an Infant Assistant Teacher, Childcare Assistant, Early Childhood Assistant, or Preschool Assistant

    Bilingual skills (English & Spanish)

    CPR/First Aid certification is a plus

    Passion for supporting infants during their earliest stages of learning and development
