    Medical Front Desk Receptionist – Full Time

    We are seeking a reliable, professional, and friendly Medical Front Desk Receptionist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate is organized, comfortable working in a busy medical office, and committed to providing EXCELLENT customer service to patients.

    This is a full-time, in-person position.

    Responsibilities

    Greet and check in patients in a friendly and professional manner

    Answer and manage incoming phone calls

    Schedule, confirm, and reschedule patient appointments

    Verify patient demographics and insurance information

    Collect copayments and other patient payments as needed

    Assist with insurance eligibility and basic authorization/referral processes

    Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient information in the electronic health record (EHR)

    Scan, upload, and organize patient documents

    Communicate with providers, medical assistants, and other staff regarding patient needs

    Assist patients with forms, referrals, and general questions

    Maintain patient confidentiality and follow HIPAA requirements

    Perform other front-office and administrative duties as assigned

    Required Qualifications

    Minimum 1–2 years of medical front desk/reception experience in a medical clinic/physician's office

    Fluent Spanish-speaking skills are required

    Strong customer service and interpersonal skills

    Professional and courteous communication skills

    Experience scheduling patients and answering multi-line phone calls

    Basic knowledge of health insurance verification and medical office procedures

    Comfortable using electronic health record (EHR) systems and computers

    Strong organizational and multitasking skills

    Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced medical office

    Dependable, punctual, and able to work well as part of a team

    Preferred Qualifications

    Experience working with Medi-Cal and managed care health plans

    Experience with referrals and prior authorizations

    Familiarity with eClinicalWorks or similar EHR systems

    Bilingual English/Spanish
