About the Role: St. Martin’s Lutheran School is seeking a dynamic, engaging, and mission-aligned Spanish Teacher to lead language instruction for students in PK3 through Grade 8.
This educator will introduce and develop students’ Spanish language skills through intentional, age-appropriate instruction that builds listening, speaking, reading, and writing abilities over time. The role requires the ability to work across developmental levels—from early exposure in Early Childhood to more structured, skill-based learning in Middle School.

Responsibilities:
Deliver standards-aligned Spanish instruction appropriate to each developmental level (PK3–8).
Foster a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere that encourages language learning.
Utilize interactive teaching methods to enhance students' speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills.
Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to promote growth.
Collaborate with fellow educators to integrate Spanish language learning across subjects.
Communicate effectively with parents regarding student performance and classroom activities.
Participate in school events and professional development opportunities.
Maintain a safe and organized classroom environment conducive to learning.
Requirements:
Fluency in Spanish required.
Bachelor's degree in Education, Spanish, or a related field.
Teaching certification or licensure in Spanish is preferred.
Experience in teaching Spanish to elementary and middle school students preferred.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to create an engaging and dynamic learning environment.
Passion for teaching and commitment to student success.
Familiarity with diverse teaching strategies and technology integration.
Fluency in Spanish and English, with strong cultural awareness.
