    Job Description

    Overview:
    The EVP, Investment oversees investment, activation, and portfolio management across all media channels. They provide consistent senior-level investment leadership by bringing new ideas, innovation, and opportunities to the client on a regular basis. The EVP, Investment develops go to market investment strategy, recommendation and POV's, while providing effective leadership of negotiations and creating strong vendor relationships.

    • Extensive knowledge and understanding of all digital, performance and traditional media channels
    • Deep understanding and ability to navigate current and future media marketplaces
    • Strong representation of agency and client values to the marketplace
    • Ability to navigate increasingly complex media companies in order to maximize client results

    Client Facing Responsibility

    • Serve as client-facing agency lead with respect to creating and representing holistic investment roadmaps to be integrated into Spark’s media strategy for client
    • Comfort with analytics, reporting, audience-building and the ability to integrate holistically into a high-level digital and performance strategy
    • Great communicator to clients on the current and future needs for their investments
    • Strong commercial understanding (client/agency as well as of agency/group offerings) and the ability to incorporate this knowledge as necessary within client interactions
    • Ability to interface with various influential clients: CMO, Head of Marketing, Head of Media, Head of Acquisition, Head of Digital, Procurement leadership, etc.
    • Showcase value and upsell of key investment services

    Internal Responsibility

    • Serve as trusted partner to agency client/strategy leads to help effectively position our investment media offerings
    • Partner with PMX practice to ensure proper connectivity to central practices and products to help seamlessly integrate group solutions into client digital and performance strategies
    • Partner with other investment leadership to ensure proper connectivity across practices
    • Grow agency revenue across applicable media channels
    • Participate in new business pitches to aid in the conversion of new client assignments

    Talent Management

    • Oversee holistic digital, performance and linear media team within Spark
    • Serve as accountable leader for all others across organization who operate in platforms (i.e. commerce team)
    • Serve as connection point into Publicis Investment leadership media community
    • Attract, develop and manage talent appropriately in order to maximize retention and support continued development of cross-functional investment skillsets across client facing teams

    Responsibilities:

    • Portfolio management of media investment across all channels and brands
    • Provide consistent leadership through bringing new ideas, innovations and opportunities to clients on a frequent and regular basis
    • Lead management and tracking of KPIs and ensure 100% contract compliance
    • Bridge gap between teams by sharing best practices and ensuring standard ways of working are employed
    • Provide thought leadership in alternative buying models and integrated projects
    • Ensure team members are adopting the best in class tools, techniques, and systems
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree or higher, with a concentration in advertising, marketing, business administration, communications, or equivalent
    • 12+ years of media buying experience, with progressive levels of responsibility across all investment channels
    • Previous team management experience
    • Excellent negotiation skills and understanding of how to add incremental value without compromising communication needs
    • Ability to package, merchandise, and sell in concepts and new opportunities
    • Strategic thinking, ability to see the bigger picture
    • Problem-solver with strong project management experience
    • Self-starter with ability to work independently and in a collaborative team setting
    • Excellent communication, diplomacy, and decision-making skills with the ability to think creatively
    • Strong technical proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

    Additional Information

    Compensation Range: $241,000-$325,500 annually. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time.
