    Job Description:

    The Spark Wireless Retail Store Manager in Training (RSMIT) is responsible for sales, leadership and management of a T-Mobile retail store location. RSMIT's are expected to create a high performing culture of sales and profitability, while providing an unprecedented, Un-Carrier customer experience. The RSMIT must be familiar with all aspects of retail management including recruiting, hiring, training, coaching, team leadership, sales, scheduling, marketing, operations and loss prevention. The ideal RSMIT candidate must have the ability to multi-task and provide effective leadership and support in a fast-paced retail wireless sales environment.

    Responsibilities:

    Recruit, interview, select, hire and develop an effective sales team

    Train team on retail wireless systems, products, plans, promotions and sales techniques

    Build skills and successes of team members through continued coaching and performance conversations

    Manage the team through effective scheduling and prompt corrective action for policy violations

    Resolve conflict between team members

    Utilize various systems and tools provided to enhance knowledge to execute to a higher level

    Meet or exceed all sales goals while managing the overall store productivity

    Set individual goals for Team Members toward meeting the overall store goals

    Deliver financial results based on specific performance and experience objectives

    Resolve customer issues fulfilling the Un-Carrier experience

    Ensure that visual merchandising is appealing to customers while adhering to T-Mobile standards

    Direct the team to maintain a neat, clean organized store environment at all times

    Drive operational procedures to help minimize risk, protect store assets and ensure accuracy of sales recording

    Identify ways to manage and control store expenses

    Maintain proper inventory management procedures

    Demonstrate an early adopter mentality through on-going self-development while preparing the team to execute on new programs quickly

    Adhere to Spark and T-Mobile policies, procedures and processes

    Qualifications:

    Minimum 1-2 years successful store/sales management experience

    Wireless and/or commission-based sales environment management is preferred

    Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)

    Capable of positively leading and coaching to deliver desired financial results

    Operational and financial performance management success
