JOB TITLE: JUNIOR QUALITY ASSURANCE SPECIALIST

Location: Columbia, MD

Job Type: Full-Time with Sparksoft

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Understand the application and performance of Sparksoft’s established policies and procedures.
• Support the maintenance of policy and procedural documents.
• Review and edit documents and presentations for quality, and compliance with standards.
• Perform internal audits of the project teams using Sparksoft’s established policies and procedures, and record noncompliance.
• Identify possible improvements to support ongoing process and quality improvement efforts.
• Produce and maintain documentation related to work activities (e.g meeting minutes, procedural descriptions, compliance checklists, audit notes, etc.)
• Maintain documentation on Microsoft SharePoint.
• Support the creation and maintenance of training materials.
• Collect and report selected metrics to create dashboards.

• Proofreading and editing
• Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office programs

• Familiar with the concepts of Agile development processes/lifecycle
• Ability to collect and analyze metrics/data in reports and dashboards.

DESIRED SKILLS

• Customer service/support experience
• Business or technical writing skills
• Familiarity with Microsoft SharePoint
• Comfortable speaking or presenting to small groups
• Familiar with Capability Maturity Model Integration (CMMI) Maturity Models

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE LEVEL

• BA/BS, or equivalent years of work experience in fields related to Information Technology or Business Administration.
• 1+ years of experience in fields related to Information Technology
