Job Description and General Responsibilities:

Responsible for managing geotechnical investigation and construction materials testing projects. This position requires a strong technical background and communication skills.

Essential Roles and Responsibilities:

• Prepares proposals for geotechnical investigations and construction testing projects
• Manages geotechnical investigations including scheduling and oversight of site drilling, laboratory testing, engineering analysis and report preparation
• Manages construction testing and inspection projects including site visits, report preparation, as-needed consulting and budget control
• Interfaces frequently with clients, contractors, owners, design team and the public
  

Minimum Qualifications:

• BS Degree in Civil Engineering or related field
• 5 years minimum related experience.
• California-registered civil or geotechnical engineer
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable violation history.
