Job Description and General Responsibilities:
Responsible for managing geotechnical investigation and construction materials testing projects. This position requires a strong technical background and communication skills.
Essential Roles and Responsibilities:
- Prepares proposals for geotechnical investigations and construction testing projects
- Manages geotechnical investigations including scheduling and oversight of site drilling, laboratory testing, engineering analysis and report preparation
- Manages construction testing and inspection projects including site visits, report preparation, as-needed consulting and budget control
- Interfaces frequently with clients, contractors, owners, design team and the public
Minimum Qualifications:
- BS Degree in Civil Engineering or related field
- 5 years minimum related experience.
- California-registered civil or geotechnical engineer
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Valid driver’s license with acceptable violation history.
