POSITION OVERVIEW:
We are seeking a Help Desk Support Specialist to support the Aeronautical Information Management Modernization (AIMM) Segment 2 Program. SFI provides a broad-based Information System Security and 24 x 7 x 365 Help Desk support. AIMM is an essential building block of the architecture of the 21st century National Airspace System (NAS).
AIMM supports the FAA safety mission and Next Generation Air Transportation System (NextGen) objectives by developing automation and information systems and services to address future air traffic requirements and providing aviation users with digital information that conforms to international standards.
AIMM provides the infrastructure that allows for an enterprise-based approach for Aeronautical Information processing and dissemination via a centralized FAA Cloud Service, thereby reducing future infrastructure costs in the NAS.
QUALIFICATIONS:
At least one year of experience with Help Desk or related IT experience.
Bachelor’s degree in a related field, or substitute eight years of related experience.
Experience supporting Active Directory
Experience working with a Helpdesk Ticketing System (JIRA & RLMS experience a plus)
Excellent Customer Service Skills
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
In order to meet the clearance requirements for this opportunity, candidates must be a US Citizen or Green Card Holder.
Ability to pass a US Public Trust background investigation for access to the client site and computing systems. You must have lived in the US for the past three (3) years.
As a Federal Contractor, all Spatial Front Employees are required to be fully vaccinated against Covid-19 and provide proof of vaccination prior to the first date of employment.
