RTD Talent Solutions is currently representing a leading national non-bank lender specializing in SBA, conventional C.R.E., and business financing that is expanding aggressively across Florida, and is now seeking a Special Assets Officer for their South Florida offices.

As a Special Assets Officer, you will be responsible for managing and resolving a portfolio of distressed and non-performing commercial loans, including SBA 7(a), SBA 504 first-lien, investor, and small-balance commercial credits. This role focuses on mitigating risk, maximizing recovery efforts, evaluating collateral positions, and developing strategic workout solutions while ensuring compliance with regulatory and internal servicing requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and service a portfolio of non-performing and distressed commercial loan relationships.
• Analyze borrower financials, collateral positions, and repayment capacity to assess risk and recovery potential.
• Develop and execute workout, modification, and recovery strategies to maximize asset resolution.
• Coordinate with legal counsel, trustees, and third parties on foreclosure, bankruptcy, and litigation matters.
• Ensure compliance with SBA servicing requirements, banking regulations, and internal credit policies.
