    At TX-STAR Speech Language Services, we partner with school districts across Texas to support students with diverse learning needs. We are currently hiring Special Education Coordinators for school-based opportunities in the San Antonio area.

    This role is ideal for experienced professionals who are passionate about supporting special education programs, ensuring compliance, and collaborating with school teams to improve student outcomes.

    What You’ll Do

    As a Special Education Coordinator, you will support the implementation and coordination of special education services while working closely with school teams and leadership.

    Key responsibilities include:

    • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and multidisciplinary teams to support student services

    • Serve as a resource for ARD/IEP processes and ensure compliance with federal and state regulations

    • Support the coordination and implementation of special education programs and services

    • Utilize special education platforms and systems to track student progress and documentation

    • Monitor compliance and support best practices across campuses

    • Provide guidance and support to staff, families, and stakeholders

    • Stay current with special education laws, regulations, and district requirements

    • Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant documentation

    What You’ll Need

    • Valid Texas Special Education teaching certification

    • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a Special Education Coordinator or related role

    • Strong knowledge of special education programs, compliance, and documentation systems

    • Understanding of ARD/IEP processes and special education services

    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

    • Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, administrators, therapists, and families

    • Strong organizational and time-management skills

    • Reliable transportation (if supporting multiple campuses)
