Carolina Collaborative Prep is looking for a dynamic Special Education Instructor. Our program offers low student to teacher ratios with a typical class size of 6 students. Additionally, assistant instructors help the lead instructors as well. Instructors must have a therapeutic and flexible mindset, and experience with students will learning differences. Responsibilities include:

• Develop and instruct whole group and small group lessons
• Individualize and differentiate instruction
• Utilize a multi-sensory approach using manipulatives when possible
• Keep organized documentation of grades and progress
• Maintain classroom organization
• Encourage and motivate students with a positive outlook
• Direct, manage, and collaborate with assistant instructors
• Develop lesson plans and post them to Google Classroom
• Communicate effectively with parents and co-workers
• Adhere to all policies and procedures

Qualifications:

• Teaching license
