    Special Education Teachers (Contract) – Wisconsin

    Location: Multiple Elementary School Locations, Wisconsin Job Type: Contract, Full-Time Duration: August 24th, 2026- June 4th, 2027 Schedule: Monday – Friday, 37.5 hours per week Elementary school locations have a half-day schedule on Fridays; however, contractors will be expected to work a full day. Salary Range: $48,000–$56,000 for the school year (August–June) Benefits: Paid Days off -up to 20 paid days during the school year

    Position Summary

    We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Special Education Teachers to provide instructional support to students in elementary school settings. The ideal candidate will be committed to helping students achieve academic success while collaborating with school staff, families, and support teams.

    Certifications

    Valid Wisconsin Special Education Teacher Licensure (verified through the Wisconsin DPI website).

    Must hold one of the following grade-level certifications:

    Early Childhood – Middle Childhood (EC–MC), OR

    Middle Childhood – Early Adolescence (MC–EA)

    Ability to work collaboratively with school teams, parents, and related service providers.

    Strong classroom management and communication skills.

    Responsibilities

    Develop and implement individualized educational programs (IEPs).

    Provide specialized instruction to students with diverse learning needs.

    Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation.

    Collaborate with general education teachers, administrators, and related service providers.

    Participate in IEP meetings and parent conferences.

    Adapt instructional materials and strategies to meet individual student needs.

    Preferred Qualifications

    Previous school-based Special Education teaching experience.

    Experience working with students across a variety of disabilities and learning needs.
