What You’ll Do:
- Assess student needs and adapt curricula for mild to moderate disabilities.
- Design and deliver engaging lesson plans and IEPs.
- Use innovative strategies to teach skills and manage classrooms.
- Collaborate with parents, staff, and educators on student progress.
- Support students’ milestones and transitions.
Who You Are:
- Experienced: Proven special education background (or newly credentialed with out-of-state reciprocity in progress).
- Knowledgeable: Familiar with current special ed methods and IEPs.
- Certified: Valid Massachusetts Special Education Teaching Credential; BS required, MS preferred.
- Skilled: Patient, resilient, and a strong communicator.
- Local: In or moving to the Greater Boston area.
