EDU-AIDs is seeking full time dedicated and compassionate Special Education Teachers to join our team in Hartford, CT for elementary grades, where you’ll help empower students with diverse learning needs to reach their full potential.

Start Date: As soon as possible Pay Rate: $50.20–$54.00 per hour (based on experience and qualifications) We value experienced educators and are open to discussing your pay expectations to ensure a fair and competitive offer.

Your Role:

As a Special Education Teacher, you’ll play a key role in creating a structured, engaging, and inclusive learning environment for students across grade levels.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver high-quality, differentiated instruction for elementary school students

Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)

Collaborate with families, general education teachers, and student support teams

Foster a safe, inclusive classroom culture that promotes growth, confidence, and achievement

What You’ll Need:

Minimum of 1 year of experience teaching in a Special Education setting

A valid Connecticut Special Education Teaching License

Strong classroom management, communication, and collaboration skills
