With Scoot Education you will be a W-2 employee and have an option for benefits, or a higher salary without benefits. We work with partner charter, public and private schools/districts but offer compensation packages that are often superior to working as an employee of these institutions.

Salary for our option including benefits and insurance ($70K)

• Vision and Dental - Less than $70.00 monthly premium

Salary for our option with no benefits and insurance ($77K)

A successful Special Education Teacher will:

• Adapt lessons to meet the needs of students in the Least Restrictive Environment (LRE)
• Identify the needs of assigned students through formal and informal assessments
• Collaborate with general education teachers to utilize appropriate methods of learning delivery and instruction to meet the needs of each student
• Prepare timely progress reports for each student
• Maintain regular communication with parents by means of email, phone calls, conferences, and progress reports

You’ll need to provide the following education & licensing requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree (required)
• AZ IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card
• AZ Department of Education Special Education certification
