Who We're Looking For
We're looking for a compassionate and committed Special Education Teacher who will help students reach their full potential academically, socially, and emotionally. If you have experience supporting diverse learners—or you're newer to the classroom but can demonstrate your impact—we'd love to connect.

What You'll Do
As our Special Education Teacher, you will:
Implement lesson plans aligned with the Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills (TEKS) and Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
Deliver targeted instruction and support for students receiving special education services
Modify curriculum and instructional strategies to meet individual learning needs
Use data to monitor student progress and adjust supports as needed
Collaborate with general education teachers to plan and deliver inclusive learning experiences
Create a positive, structured classroom environment where students feel respected, supported, and motivated
Support students in developing study habits, self-advocacy, and social skills
Communicate regularly with families about student progress and IEP goals
Participate in ARD meetings, professional development, coaching, and school events
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university (required)
Valid Texas Special Education Certification (required)
At least one year of successful teaching experience strongly preferred
