    About the Opportunity

    SOS Personnel is seeking a compassionate, dedicated, and certified Special Education Teacher to join one of our partner schools for the 2026–2027 school year.

    This position serves a 4th/5th grade special education classroom with a maximum of 12 students, allowing teachers to provide individualized instruction in a supportive learning environment. The classroom is supported by a dedicated Behavior Health Worker who assists with both behavioral and instructional needs.

    Responsibilities

    Develop and implement engaging lesson plans aligned with IEPs and state standards.

    Deliver differentiated instruction to meet diverse student needs.

    Foster a positive, structured, and inclusive classroom environment.

    Monitor student progress and maintain required documentation.

    Collaborate with families, administrators, related service providers, and support staff.

    Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team meetings.

    Qualifications

    Valid Pennsylvania Special Education Teaching Certification (required)

    Bachelor's degree in Education or related field (Master's preferred)

    Experience teaching elementary-aged students, preferably in special education

    Strong classroom management and communication skills

    Current PA clearances
