Special Education Teacher – Multiple Locations in Maricopa County

Victory Autism Academy is growing—and we’re hiring Special Education Teachers across Maricopa County! Join a passionate team committed to providing individualized, high-quality education to students with disabilities in a supportive and structured learning environment.

Open Positions Available In:

• Anthem

• Scottsdale

• Sun City

• Phoenix

• Queen Creek

• Goodyear

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and implement IEPs in compliance with state and federal regulations

• Provide direct services and instruction per student IEPs

• Maintain confidentiality in accordance with FERPA

• Deliver engaging lessons aligned to Arizona state standards

• Lead small group instruction (Reading & Math)

• Apply behavior systems (Token Economy, Lion Bucks, Zones of Regulation)

• Keep up-to-date lesson plans, data binders, and grades

• Communicate with families via ClassTag (minimum twice daily)

• Supervise support staff and attend all required meetings

Requirements:

• Valid Arizona Special Education Teaching Certificate with required endorsements

• Meets Highly Qualified status under state/federal standards

• Able to pass fingerprint/background clearance

• Ability to lift up to 60 lbs as needed

• Willing to complete CPR, First Aid, and CPI training

• Master schedule and “I Can” statements posted daily

• Consistent use of small group rotations and student supports

• Strong classroom management and clear expectations

• Familiarity with Zones of Regulation, sign language visuals, and schoolwide language practices
