Session 2: July 14 – August 8, 2025
Full 8-Week Session: June 16 – August 8, 2025
Hours: 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM
About Camp Inspire Camp Inspire is a specialized summer program hosted by Motivated Learners for neurodivergent individuals ages 3–21. Created by licensed teachers and behavior professionals, our program combines structure, creativity, and individualized support in a fun and inclusive setting. Campers engage in social-emotional learning, communication building, and engaging play-based activities in a safe environment tailored to their needs.
We place staff based on strengths and experience—whether your passion lies in early childhood or supporting teens and young adults, you’ll work in a group that aligns with your abilities.
Ideal Candidates Include:
College students majoring in education, psychology, speech, or related fields
Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) or those interested in the ABA field
Paraprofessionals, special education staff, or teachers looking for summer work
Individuals with experience supporting children, teens, or young adults with autism or developmental disabilities
Responsibilities:
Lead or assist in age-appropriate activities and social play
Support campers in communication, social interaction, and structured routines
Implement and follow individualized behavior support strategies
Ensure camper safety and engagement during transitions, group activities, and sensory play
Collaborate closely with licensed teachers, BCBAs, and other team members
Requirements:
Must be at least 18 years old
Must pass a background check and attend pre-camp training
Reliable transportation to and from Wheeling, IL
Comfortable supporting individuals with behavioral challenges
Able to respond quickly and appropriately to elopement or flight-risk behaviors
Patient, reliable, and confident in maintaining a safe and structured environment
