BCBA Temporary Professional – Behavior Modification & Toileting Support for Teenager
Job Summary:
The family is seeking a highly skilled BCBA (Board Certified Behavior Analyst) for a 3-month in-person position supporting teenage boys with special needs. This role focuses on behavior modification, evaluating current needs, and developing a comprehensive behavior support plan.
The BCBA will work closely with a 13-year-old neuro- divergent with emphasis on toileting, potty training, brain training, and overall behavior programming. The right candidate will have experience across various special-needs profiles—not just autism—and be skilled in assessing behaviors, identifying patterns, and creating individualized plans.
Schedule
Afterschool in-person hours: 3:30 pm – 6:30 pm
3-month initial commitment, with potential to transition into consultative work afterward.
Salary
$35–$45 per hour (based on experience)
Key Responsibilities
Conduct an initial evaluation and develop a full behavioral profile for the teenager.
Create, implement, and oversee a toileting and potty-training program.
Support behavior modification strategies tailored to teenage developmental needs.
Provide guidance on brain training, routines, reinforcement systems, and behavioral goals.
Monitor overnight progress and ensure safety and comfort.
Track data and adjust behavior plans as needed.
Collaborate with the family to maintain consistency and structure.
Requirements
Active BCBA certification.
Extensive experience working with teenagers with special needs, including toileting and behavior challenges.
Covid vaccinated.
Prior professional experience with strong behavioral background.
Able to provide 5 professional references.
Valid driver’s license.
Authorized to work in the U.S.
