Minimum Qualifications

Candidates for this position must demonstrate a strong commitment to the mission and values of CCV.
The ideal candidate will:
- Commit– Have been baptized by immersion and be actively pursuing a Christ-centered life.
- Worship – Regularly engage in CCV’s weekend services and personal worship, attending with their spouse or family if they have one.
- Serve – Be dedicated to serving others within CCV and the broader community.
- Coach – Be committed to coaching and guiding others in their Next Steps.
- Generosity – Tithe 10% of their income to CCV as an expression of faith and stewardship.
- Community Engagement – Actively participate in a CCV Group for spiritual growth and connection.
- These requirements ensure that the candidate embodies CCV’s core commitments and values while fostering a thriving church community.

- Customer Focus –Dedicated to meeting the unique needs and expectations of both internal and external families. Ensure that all individuals with special needs and their families feel valued, understood, and supported in their spiritual journey.
- Interpersonal Skills – Builds strong, trusting relationships with individuals of all abilities, communicating effectively with families, volunteers, and staff to foster an inclusive community.
- Self-Development – Actively seeks to grow in knowledge and skills related to special needs ministry, as well as leadership and communication. Open to constructive feedback and committed to continuous improvement.
- Drive for Results – Motivated by the mission of helping students with special needs understand and experience God’s love. Displays initiative and passion in pursuing ministry goals and leading others to do the same.
- Conflict Management Skills – Approaches disagreements with empathy, aiming to build consensus while keeping the needs of the individuals and the organization in mind.
- Administrative Skills – Capable of managing multiple tasks and responsibilities efficiently. Skilled at organizing processes, prioritizing needs, and maintaining attention to detail.
- Adaptability – Able to respond quickly to changing needs within the ministry and adjust resources or plans accordingly to ensure the best care for students with special needs.
Education and Experience
- A degree, training in a related field, or ministry proven experience preferred
- Knowledgeable of the Bible
- Experience working with youth and volunteers preferred
- Working knowledge of the business of the church and procedures is helpful
- Skilled in using a database for volunteer information, recruiting, and attendance is a plus (i.e. Rock)
