In this role, you will scrub, circulate, and monitor advanced diagnostic and interventional cardiac and peripheral angiographic studies in a supportive, collaborative environment. Key Responsibilities
Assist interventional physicians during diagnostic and interventional procedures.
Prepare sterile trays, maintain sterile field, and adhere to hospital protocols.
Administer contrast media according to age- and weight-specific guidelines.
Monitor, record, and interpret hemodynamic measurements and valve area readings.
Administer IV medications and maintain IV access.
Document procedures in Meditech and verify images in PACS.
Safely measure and dispose of radioactive waste per regulations.
Cross-train in the cardiac cath lab and participate in on-call rotation.
Qualifications
Required:
Graduate of an accredited School of Radiologic Technology.
Current ARRT certification [RT(R)].
BLS certification.
Minimum 1 year of Special Procedures, Cath Lab, or EP Lab experience.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Preferred:
ACLS certification (or completion within 6 months of hire).
Neuro lab experience.
