Seeking a compassionate, patient and energetic person to work with adults with intellectual challenges to provide day program support. The supports are intended to teach life skills which include, communication and social skills as well as safety and independent living skills. THIS JOB WILL PUT A SMILE ON YOUR FACE KNOWING YOU ARE ENRICHING THE LIVES OF PEOPLE WITH MULTIPLE CHALLENGES! We operate a hybrid model, four days per week in person at the program location and we utilize remote learning on Fridays. We have positions available at our Granada Hills program which is a program that is 100% community based, and positions also available in our licensed location in North Hollywood. Currently the work model consists of being assigned a caseload. Zoom and telephone supports primarily on Fridays. Staff will work from your own home mostly on Fridays and in person Monday through Thursday. Current schedules: M-F 8:30-3:30pm. Hourly Wage $16.25-$18 depends on experience. The idea candidate will be eager to learn about the population we serve, work well with others and be able to work independently. Requirements: 1. Must possess a High School diploma or equivalent and one year of work experience. 2. Pass a background check ( fingerprinting paid by the agency). 3. Pass a work physical and obtain a negative TB test ( paid by the agency). 4. Must possess a good driving record, no DUIs, not more than 2 points on your driving record. 5. Must have a reliable vehicle with current liability insurance in place. 6. Must be fully vaccinated and receive a booster if eligible. 7. Possess equipment to be able to participate in virtual activities.
