A large Global manufacturing company in the Macon area is seeking a Staff Accountant. The ideal candidate will have experience working in the manufacture industry as an Accountant. Great pay and great benefits. · Compiles and analyzes financial information necessary to prepare entries to accounts, such as various general ledger accounts documenting business transactions. · Distributes monthly, quarterly & annual P&L information to company via SAP & BOFC systems. · Maintains current documentation of various reports in order to contribute to the effective functioning of the organization. · Prepares cash flow forecasts & budgets. Documents & manages all cash flow transactions and reports. · Responsible for reconciling multiple balance sheet accounts on a monthly, quarterly, or annual basis. · Prepares and makes presentations, when so directed, to members of Macon's staff. · Compiles annual manufacturing expense budgets. · Prepares and distributes manufacturing labor and expense reports and analyzes budgets and forecasts while explaining differences to management. · Assists with preparation of annual audit package and assists with outside auditors. · Establishes, modifies, documents, and coordinates implementation of accounting control procedures. · Examines work for adherence to established policies and/or procedures. Requirements · Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting · 3+ of experience working for a Manufacturing company. · Must have knowledge of Word Processing software, spreadsheet software, manufacturing software, SAP software, Internet software, and e-mail software. · Team player.
