Job Description

As a Specialty Cook, you will be responsible for preparing authentic Vietnamese pho and other specialty cuisine items with precision and consistency. You will execute all orders according to established recipes and quality standards while maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient work station. This role requires strong attention to detail, food safety compliance, and the ability to coordinate with the team to ensure timely order fulfillment.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS/DUTIES:

• Prepare and execute food orders for specialty Vietnamese cuisine according to standardized recipes and established quality standards.
• Monitor food production throughout service to ensure consistent quality and adherence to specifications.
• Coordinate order timing and communicate with front-of-house staff to ensure accurate and timely order fulfillment.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of assigned work station and storage areas throughout all shifts.
• Manage inventory control at the assigned station, including proper stock rotation, storage procedures, and par level maintenance.
• Implement and consistently apply all established food safety, sanitation, and operational procedures.
• Minimize food waste through proper portion control, inventory management, and adherence to storage protocols.

Qualifications

Must have a minimum of six (6) months of experience as a cook.
 Must be able to stand and/or walk for duration of shift.
 Must be able to lift, carry, and maneuver up to 75 pounds.
 Other physical requirements of the position include but are not necessarily limited to reaching, grasping, bending, kneeling, and twisting at the waist.
 Must be able to obtain/maintain any necessary licenses and/or certifications
