    Business Development Representative- Specialty Ingredients - South

    The Ingredients Business Development Representative plays a key role in developing new business opportunities in the Southern US region targeting clients in the Food, Beverage, Human Nutrition, Dairy, confectionary, nutraceutical, and bakery space.

    **This person should be located in the southern United States ***

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Drive sales through the promotion and marketing of raw material Specialty ingredients.
    • Support the development and execution of strategic sales plans.
    • Prepare, document, and manage pricing quotes, contracts, and sales agreements.
    • Track and report sales activity and performance metrics
    • Execute assigned responsibilities in accordance with company policies, procedures, and work instructions.
    • Adhere to all established quality system standards.

    Qualifications & Skills:

    • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a discipline relevant to the company’s industry focus. (Ex. Ingredients, Flavors, Colors, etc.)
    • 3-5 years of B2B sales experience, preferably within a related field.
    • Professional, responsive, and customer-focused demeanor.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
    • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel as required for sales activities.
    • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and contact management/CRM software.
    • Ability to consistently represent company values and policies in all internal and external interactions.
    • Demonstrated ability to manage confidential and sensitive information with discretion.

    Compensation: $100,000-120,000 base salary, plus commission, and full benefits!
