    Job Description

    JOB SUMMARY:

     

    Customer Service Associate will primarily work in customer service but is cross trained in packing and warehouse position and is able to assist in these areas when operational needs require it. 

    *THIS JOB MUST BE CARRIED OUT IN COMPLIANCE WITH ALL SPECIALTY PRODUCE BUSINESS CONDUCT AND ETHICS STANDARDS, POLICIES, AND PROCEDURES AS WELL AS ALL FEDERAL, STATE, AND LOCAL LAWS. 

    GENERAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:

     

    • Greet customers 
    • Ring up customers
    • Assist customers with questions 
    • Ensures all new customers sign all applicable forms based on company SOP
    • Address customer complaints/concerns with the assistance of management 
    • Process cancellations, adjustments, and changes to Invoices. 
    • Ensure cleanliness of retail area
    • Assist with packing customer orders.
    • Assist with packing orders for delivery
    • Assist in driver department; when needed 
    • Maintain good knowledge of the warehouse and where everything is stored

    JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Education: High school diploma or equivalent 
    • Experience: 1-2 years of related experience (Preferred but not required)

     

     

     

    SKILLS:

     

    • Coordination — Adjusting actions in relation to others' actions. 
    • Fast Paced-Will need to be able to work quickly and effectively always.
    • Time Management — Must be able to manage time effectively.
    • Knowledge Retention- Capturing knowledge in the organization and retaining it, so that it can assist you in fulfilling your day to day tasks. 
    • Active Listening — Giving full attention to what other people are saying, taking time to understand the points being made, asking questions as appropriate, and not interrupting at inappropriate times. 
    • Speaking — Talking to others to convey information effectively. 
    • Judgment and Decision Making — Considering the relative costs and benefits of potential actions to choose the most appropriate one. 
    • Computer Skills- Basic computer (e.g. word, excel, etc.) and Tablet skills
    • Mathematical Skills/Ability-Basic math skills (e.g. counting, subtracting, multiplying, etc.)

     

     

     PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

     

    • Continuous Pushing and Pulling 50lbs+
    • Lifting to 45lbs alone and team lift for anything above. 
    • Standing 8 hrs. or more
    • Walking 8 hrs. or more
    • Bending, Stooping, Kneeling 8 hrs. or more
    • Must be able to talk, hear and see to complete job safely and efficiently, as we are an active warehouse with heavy machinery
    • Repetitive hand/arm movements (e.g. typing, ringing up customers, etc.)
    • Must be able to withstand a 40ft x 8ft giant TV screen lighting, as the retail area is located directly in front of the screen
    • Must be able to withstand cold temperatures as this job requires going into coolers and freezers throughout the day. Coldest temperature is 7 degrees Celsius
