    Analyze Pathology is seeking a reliable, detail-oriented, and motivated Specimen Accessioner to join our growing laboratory team in Deerfield Beach, FL.

    This position is ideal for candidates who thrive in a fast-paced environment, have strong data entry skills, and are committed to maintaining accuracy while handling patient specimens. Previous laboratory processing experience is required.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Receive, sort, and accession patient specimens

    Enter patient demographic and testing information into the Laboratory Information System (LIS)

    Verify specimen integrity and review requisition forms for completeness and accuracy

    Identify and resolve specimen discrepancies according to laboratory procedures

    Perform specimen preparation, including centrifuging, freezing, aliquoting, and other special processing as required

    Label specimens accurately and prepare samples for testing

    Package and ship specimens to appropriate testing facilities

    Maintain an organized and efficient work area

    Meet daily productivity and quality standards

    Qualifications:

    Minimum 1 year of laboratory processing or specimen accessioning experience

    High School Diploma or equivalent required

    Strong computer and data entry skills

    Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications

    Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills

    Ability to accurately identify and process specimens

    Comfortable handling biological specimens

    Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.

    Reliable attendance and ability to work Tuesday through Saturday

    Compensation & Benefits:

    Starting pay: $19.00 per hour
