    Job Description

    JOB TITLE:             BUSINESS ANALYST

    LENGTH:                 18 MONTHS

    LOCATION:             SAN FRANCISCO, CA

     

    NOTE: Candidates must be able to attend an on-site client interview in San Francisco.

     

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Working as part of the Innovation team in an Agile environment, focused on Digital Consumer Experience, work with the design team and product managers to ensure design and product strategy requirements are in alignment.
    • Document user stories and facilitate story point discussions to analyze the level of effort on project specifications.
    • Create prioritized product backlog, Sprint Backlog and manage User Stories for current and subsequent releases.
    • Collaborate with onsite and offshore development team ensuring the 100% quality delivery of code.
    • Create business flow and rules, Vision documents and BRDs for projects.
    • Perform GAP analysis, conduct feasibility study and perform impact analysis for proposed enhancements.
    • Develop and maintain a customer-focused relationship with business stakeholders and other IT areas by exhibiting a high level of collaboration, timely communication and responsiveness.

     

    REQUIRED SKILLS:

    • 5 to 8 years of experience as a Business Analyst, including strong requirements elaboration and documentation skills.
    • Extensive experience working within an Agile environment.
    • Experience conducting and leading requirements gathering sessions; and creating Business Requirements Document
    • Experience translating high-level strategy and product direction into features, epics and user stories; prioritize in the product backlog for selection for sprint backlog.
    • Must have critical thinking skills and the ability to see the big picture in addition to the detailed tasks necessary to complete the next Sprint.
    • Extensive experience creating current and future state workflows using Visio; and process mapping skills are required.
    • Strong relationship building, communication and interpersonal skills; and proven track record in working with all levels of an organization’s technical and business departments.
    • Must be a self-starter, enthusiastic; and possess very strong organizational, task management and prioritization skills. Must be able to thrive in a fast-paced work environment.
    • Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
