TOWER TECHNICIAN, (IL/WI MARKETS) 

This fulltime position offers competitive hourly compensation, paid hourly travel time (drive time), 401K, travel compensation (hotel/perdiem), medical, dental, vision insurance and options with health care saving (HSA) accounts. Additional insurance and retirement benefits are offered as well.  

In collaboration with the tower technician position, key responsibilities include:

·        Highly competent and have good work ethic.

·        Ability to identify material and needs to complete a project.

·        Climbing telecommunication structures to heights that may or may not exceed 500’.

·        Work in less than favorable weather conditions such as hot and/or frigid temperatures.

·        Perform all work in accordance with OSHA, company, and customer safety policies/best practices. 

·        Lifting items that weigh up to 80lbs.

·        Ability to interpret and implement the requirements of the CDs/RFDSs to the other team members on a project. 

·        Have or capable of completing all required training such as climbing and rescue, rigging, CPR/first aid, RF Awareness, OSHA 10/30, etc…

·        Assemble components required to build a project such as RRUs, antennas, steel mounts, and other material. 

·        Drive an oversized truck and trailer.

·        Fill out all required paperwork for a project.

·        Complete all required closeouts including paperwork, photos, VQA, Etc.

·        Have good organizational and communication skills.

·        Safely use hand and power tools.

·        Use of test equipment for electrical, RF, and fiber optics. 

·        Completing quality work in a safe and efficient manner.

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS:

·        Ability to pass a pre employment drug screening and health physical

·        Have a current valid driver’s license and have a clean driving record

·        Have a reliable source of transportation

·        Ability to travel for extended periods of time

·        Willingness to work extended hours (nights and weekends) to meet the demand of the customer

·        Punctuality is required

·        Ability to work with others and be a team player
